Praise the Lord! Advent is a time of preparation and an expectation of joy. So why do we often approach our spiritual lives as if we are in a deep sleep stupor? "Wake up!" Jesus says, "I'm comin' and you better be prepared!" Our alarm clocks shock us out of our dark slumber so why shouldn't Advent be our alarm clock to move us from under that blanket of dark fear to an embrace of the adventure of Catholocism? Let's wake up and follow Jesus! He's comin'!
