He's the Boss!

Jesus Christ is our sovereign king! He is the one to rule over us, but that doesn't meant that He is a coercive and unjust God glaring over our back like an angry boss. Jesus Christ manifests His kingship through the cross. It is here that Jesus reveals Himself to mankind and gives to us an example of God's love through servant leadership. This power of the kingship of Jesus comes to us because it is through Him that sin and death are conquered. He has given us the power of His kingship through baptism and we can accept this power if we believe that the power of sin has no dominion over us. If we truly believe in the power of Christ's kingship, we would truly believe that His sovereignty isn't to Lord over us, but to serve for us and allow us know the freedom of living in His love!
