There's no "One-upping" the One Who Has Come down!

Often, we find ourselves "one-upping" others in conversations highlighting our achievements while at the same time diminishing our defeats. The power of Christ becomes real when we acknowledge the God who has truly come down from heaven to become vulnerable and week. True victories can only be measured against how we react to the most crushing of defeats. Jesus, ya he came down but there's no "one-upping" this God! He gives to us victory if only we want to accept our own weaknesses too! Merry CHRISTmas!
